I usually don't show roughs to clients with the exception of the few who understand them. A faxed or emailed rough can save a lot of time and trouble or create confusion. This time it helped the client resolve some minor issues with the art. Thankfully, there weren't that many changes for this job.

Finalizing The Design -Part One [Gaming Shirt]

Placement, gesture, and the characters expression have been tweaked. The stylized game system creates a final layer of depth to the perspective and camera angle. The idea for comp on the right was to add excitement and suggest the action of game play. The Facial expression and action were kept low-key due to client concern that character might seem angry or violent.
